Above is the 4th canyon on the way to Cuesta de la Piedra, or the first canyon coming from Cuesta de la Piedra.  The black car is parked on the wrong side of the road in front of the only chain link fence on the road from Potrerillos to Cuesta de la Piedra.  The small bridge hides an incredible canyon called Macho de Monte.  Below are pictures of the canyon from the bridge.

Below are pictures of the canyon. WARNING WARNING DO NOT ENTER THIS CANYON IN RAINY SEASON AS IT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD----YOU WILL DIE.  Also this canyon requires rock climbing skills or ropes and swiming in strong currents.

But it is one of the most spectacular places on this planet and in Chiriqui.  Totally incredible
