Christopher & Lorraine were lovely hosts, making sure we had what we needed, directing us well whether sight seeing or shopping. Views are fabulous from the house, and even though mountains abound, the driving is so easy. Well, except no road signs. So having a sym from Panama for your phone will help so you can use Waze. We couldn't find a sym the first day and by the day we were in a town that would have the nano size we figured we knew where we were going. We visited Boquete, what a beautiful drive and cute town. Then we shopped in David, really great for shopping if you live in Costa Rica.

Chris and Lorraine are perfect hosts. Chris is very knowledgable about Caldera and Boquete and will show you secret waterfalls and nearby hot springs. He is very generous and will escort you to farmers markets and shopping. We were able to practice yoga on his large deck overlooking the valley below. We had total access to the kitchen and grounds. Chris and Lorraine's dogs, Polly, Grace and Harry are wonderful and well behaved. The chickens love to be petted! We saw a flock of wild, green parrots fly by, a magnificent Iguana lounging in the sun and awoke mornings to jungle song birds. Chris introduced us to Cowboy Dave where we rented a car for $30 a day. I would definitely come back and encourage everyone who wants to visit Boquete to stay with Chris. He's a gentleman and a scholar who will regale you with great stories. Lorraine is an angel! They both went out of their way for us and it was much appreciated.

The room, the hosts, the grounds, the hospitality, the rides to town, their knowledge of the area.

We were given a tour of the home upon arrival, and Chris pointed out the most important aspects of staying at the house. The pictures of the home and surrounding land are accurate. Chris and Lorraine were able to provide us with a number of great suggestions for sightseeing in the immediate area as well as in the area around Boquete. He provided us with maps as well as detailed instructions and pictures too. Our stay here was very relaxing, and we slept each night with the windows open. Because the home is situated a good distance off the main road it was a quiet place for us to relax after a full day of driving and sightseeing. The house is also situated at the high point of the property which insures plenty of cool breezes at night. The parking area is very close to the house, so this makes it easy to enter the home after parking your vehicle. I would definitely suggest a vehicle for getting around though, as the area is somewhat remote from the main road between David and Boquete. We were there for a week which was plenty of time for us to focus on the Chiriqui region including Caldera which is where this home is located. So to sum it up we will definitely add our names to the best kept secret in Boquete list, and we hope to stay here again in the future.

A wonderful stay with wonderful hosts kindness and very attentives.  Loved the place with an incredible view and lulled by birdsong and the river flowing. There are plenty of activities near to home. The town of Boquete is also not far. The room was very clean with a very good mattress. Also great and the bathroom. We recommend this place and get to know Christopher and Lorraine whom we thank. Chris has been extremely helpful with all his suggestions in planing our trip. In a short time we felt like we are talking to a friend. We did not have the pleasure of meeting him in person as he was out of town during that period, however Lorraine was an amazing hostess. She was kind, informative, attentive,sweet and we felt welcomed . Their place and the surroundings are exactly as you see it on their website and even better!  Our accommodations were nice and cozy, it beats any hotel experience.  It is a very short distance from Boquete, around the corner to the Caldera Hot Springs ,the water falls and the Canyon. The highlight of our vacation was our stay at Christofer and Lorraine's place and we appreciate that they shared their beautiful home with us. We highly recommend to anyone to stay with them and we would rate it a 5 star Bed and Breakfast stay. Robert and Mili
